My friends,
It is SO important to recognize Righteousness. For how will you recognize the coming of Messiah, if you do not recognize Righteousness when YHWH sends it to you? So let us learn and understand what Righteousness is, so that we will recognize true Righteousness.
First let me say:
1John 4
1 Dear friends, don't trust every spirit. On the contrary, test the spirits to see whether they are from YHWH.
My friends, here is an old Jewish saying:
“The Messiah you are expecting will never come; The Messiah that is coming you never expected.”
This is true, yet it is so sad to see that so many people do not recognize Righteousness!
The above Jewish judgement is so obvious and yet it is so blatently ignored!
Let's read:
John 3
19 Now this is the judgment: the Light has come into the world, but people loved the darkness rather than the Light. Why? Because their own actions are wicked.
My friends, the wicked will never recognize Righteousness! Their arrogant hearts won't allow such a thing! They trust in their own self-righteousness! When Righteouness does come, they quickly subdue it.
John 8
39 They answered him, "Our father is Abraham." Yahshua replied, "If you are children of Abraham, then do the things Abraham did! 40 As it is, you are out to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from YHWH. Abraham did nothing like that! 41 You are doing the things your father does." "We're not illegitimate children!" they said to him. "We have only one Father -- YHWH!" 42 Yahshua replied to them, "If YHWH were your Father, you would love me; because I came out from YHWH; and now I have arrived here. I did not come on my own; he sent me. 43 Why don't you understand what I'm saying? Because you can't bear to listen to my message. 44 You belong to your father, Satan, and you want to carry out your father's desires."
You see my friends, like-minded people are attracted to each other. So how can the arrogant ever recognize Righteousness? For they love themselves!
John 5
44 How can you trust? You're busy collecting praise from each other, instead of seeking praise from YHWH only.
How can one love himself and YHWH? It is impossible. We know that our own hearts are:
Jeremiah 17
9 The heart is more deceitful than anything else and mortally sick. Who can fathom it?
We also know that:
Proverbs 2
14 An arrogant look, a proud heart, and evil actions are all sin.
and:
James 4
6......"YHWH opposes the arrogant, but to the humble he gives grace."
My friends, I beg you to run from all evil!
Run to Righteousness!
The wicked chase the lusts of their own heart; but the righteous run to YHWH!
Whoever seeks true Righteousness, will surely recognize it! But whoever chases their own desires, will surely be led astray by them!
Here is Righteousness:
Matthew 22
37 You are to love YHWH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
Proverbs 3
5 Trust in YHWH with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding.
Anyone who loves and trusts YHWH will surely respect YHWH!
Proverbs 8
3 To respect YHWH is to hate evil: Pride, arrogancy, evil ways, and the perverse mouth, do I hate.
But if you run to evil people like these, how will you ever recognize Righteousness?
Matthew 15
14 Let them be. They are blind guides. When a blind man guides another blind man, both will fall in a pit.
But you my friends,
if any of you truly seek to recognize Righteousness;
you will find that Righteousness is not to far from you nor is it to difficult to recognize.
So seek it out!
How do we recognize Righteousness?
The answer:
If we are living according to True Righteousness, then how could we ever miss it? It will look familiar to us! We will recognize that it's fruit looks similar to our own fruit!
John 5
46 "For if you really trusted (The Law of) Moses, you would trust me; because it was about me that Moses wrote. 47 But if you don't trust what Moses wrote, how are you going to trust what I say?"
Now we know that the people to which Messiah is speaking to here, were "Torah Observant" Jews. Yet we also know that these people did not recognize Righteousness.
Why?
Because although they spoke of their "Zeal" and "Love" for YHWH, their hearts were far from YHWH! True Torah obedience comes from a humble heart! So how could they recognize Righteousness?
In their own arrogance and self-righteousness, they were quick to accuse and execute the Righteous one who was sent to them!
John 5
44 "How can you trust? You're busy collecting praise from each other, instead of seeking praise from YHWH only. 45 But don't think that it is I who will be your accuser before the Father. Do you know who will accuse you? Moses, the very one you have counted on!"
Proverbs 16
18 Pride goes before destruction, and arrogance before the fall.
Why are humans hearts so disgustingly arrogant? Haven't we learned anything from history?
Ecclesiastes 1
9 What has been is what will be, what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.
It's disgusting and frustrating.
My brothers and my friends,
I again beg you to run from evil! How will you ever recognize Righteousness, if you run to evil people?
Do you want to recognize Righteousness?
Then stop listening to your own evil hearts, or what others say, or rumors, gossip and hearsay; avoid these deamons that have twisted the Truth from the time of Eden, and instead:
Judge a tree by the fruit that it bears.
Matthew 7
18 "A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, or a poor tree good fruit."
Here is evil fruit:
Proverbs 6
16 There are six things YHWH hates, seven which he detests: 17 a proud look, a lying mouth, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that plots wicked schemes, feet swift in running to do evil, 19 a false witness who lies with every breath, and him who sows strife among brothers.
Notice what comes first:
Proverbs 11
2a First comes pride, then disgrace...
Here is Righteous fruit:
Proverbs 11
2b....but with the humble is wisdom.
Proverbs 11
30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise wins souls.
Wow! Righteous fruit wins souls!
How so?
By teaching others to obey YHWH's Torah with a Humble Heart!
Again:
Righteous fruit:
Proverbs 10
16a The labor of the righteous brings to life,
Evil fruit:
Proverbs 10
16b ....the fruit of the wicked to sin.
Proverbs 2
14 An arrogant look, a proud heart, and evil actions are all sin.
My friends,
If you run from evil and TRULY seek YHWH's heart, you will surely recognize Righteousness!
But if you are led by your own whoring heart, following it wherever it leads you to prostitute yourself, then I tell you that you will never ever recognize Righteousness! Never ever! Instead, you will only see what your own wicked heart leads you to see.
Romans 8
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against YHWH: for it is not subject to the law of YHWH, neither indeed can be.
Now I caution all of you to be vigilant,
because from the very beginning this has been true:
Wherever there is Light, darkness attempts to put it out.
I beg you, each of you- my beloved friends,
seek Righteousness so that at last, you will finally recognize it!
