Exo 20:2 I am the YHWH thy Elohim, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
I am YHWH your Elohim, who saved you from the slavery of sin, from a heart of bondage that was leading you to death, yes from your own personal Egypt of vanity and pride!
Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other elohim before Me.
Therefore, you are now to live according to My Spirit, putting Me first, and forgetting your own heart, pride, feelings and desires.
Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any manner of likeness, of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
You shall not seek to build yourself a reputation, nor have any pride, nor any self-centered feelings or thoughts within you. You are to put all of your trust in YHWH and you are to be pure hearted, clean and upright in everything you do!
Exo 20:5 thou shalt not bow down unto them, nor serve them; for I YHWH thy Elohim am a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me;
You shall not serve yourself, not your own reputation or your own pride or your own self interests. Whoever loves himself more than he loves YHWH is not worthy of YHWH. So stay humble and love Me more than everything else! And do not worry about acquiring anything at all; neither needs nor wants; neither physical nor emotional. I am YHWH your Elohim and I am a jealous Elohim. You belong to me, so I will provide all that you need. Do not attempt to infuriate me by trusting in yourselves. That is what your fathers did at the Tower of Bavel, attempting to “make a name for themselves", and you see what I did to them. Do not choose to serve self-pride, reputation, or feelings or anything else instead of Me! Rather, execute yourself! Yes, pick up your execution stake and follow Me! Do not serve your reputation any longer. I YHWH, am a jealous Elohim, and if you do such a detestable thing, then I will even cause your children to pay for such wickedness- even three and four generations after you!
Exo 20:6 and showing mercy unto the thousandth generation of them that love Me and keep My commandments.
But if you will love Me, and trust Me like Avraham trusted Me, for he loved me more than he loved his own son, and also like Noach loved me, putting Me above everything else, including his own reputation, and thereby trusting My Words and demands so that you will obey all of My Commands, then I will love you also and I will show mercy to you, and not only to you, but to your children’s children for a thousand generations, because I am merciful and I dearly love all of those who truly love Me! Yes, I love them with My whole being!
Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of YHWH thy Elohim in vain; for YHWH will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.
You shall not take My Name, which is My very Reputation, in vain; For I, YHWH will not hold anyone guiltless who slanders My Reputation- My very Character because I am Righteousness! I gave my Torah and I follow my Torah! I AM THE TORAH and the Torah is Righteousness! THE TORAH IS MY REPUTATION, MY NAME, and I will not let it be trampled on! Woe to you who do such a despicable act! I will not hold you guiltless!
Exo 20:8 Remember the Sabbath Days, to keep it holy. 9 You have six days to labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Shabbat for YHWH your Elohim. On it, you are not to do any kind of work -not you, your son or your daughter, not your male or female slave, not your livestock, and not the foreigner staying with you inside the gates to your property. 11 For in six days, YHWH made heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. This is why YHWH blessed the day, Shabbat, and separated it for himself.
Remember the days of Shabbat, for this is our vistation schedule! Set these days apart from all other days. For I Myself have set these days apart for your benefit, so that I can be with you, and not only you, but for all of My creation, so that I can commune with you and to be in your presence, to enjoy My children and My work, and all that I have created and also to show you My eternal plans and how I will restore the universe to it’s Righteous state. So set these days apart on the calender because these are our visitation days! And on these days you and I are to gather together for a very special time forever! Oh My children, I love each one of you SO much, and I can't wait to see each of you! I'll be there for you, just like I promised, so make it your top priority to remember our special day- The Sabbath Day!
12 "Honor your father and mother, so that you may live long in the land which YHWH your Elohim is giving you.
Respect your Father and mother. I am your Father, respect Me. If I have given you a father on earth, then you are to respect him also, provided he obeys My Words as I am ordering you to do today. Respect him both in your deeds and within your thoughts. Respect your mother also, and remember who she is: Matthew 12:48-49 will remind you if you should forget.
13 "Do not murder.
Do not even desire to avenge yourself out of anger toward your fellow human beings. I am the fair Judge! I see all things. If anyone has violated these laws, they are violating Me. They are not violating you, because I am the Law giver- not you. These are My Laws, not yours. So nobody can sin against you. Anyone who sins, is violating My Law, thus sinning against Me. So don’t seek vengeance nor even think evil thoughts within your mind. Pray for your enemy. I will hear your prayers and I will be fair in My judgements.
14 "Do not commit adultery.
Do not commit adultery. Don’t even lust after another mans wife! If you do, then you have already committed adultery. And don’t you ever EVER give your attention to some other elohim other than Me! I said EVER!
15 "Do not steal.
Do not steal, neither with your hands, nor within your heart nor with your mind. Treat your fellow human being as you yourself desire to be treated.
16 "Do not give false evidence against your neighbor.
Do not lie to yourself nor anyone else, nor concoct any rumor or gossip or any untruth whatsoever about a fellow human being, neither within your own mind, nor with your mouth, neither to yourself nor to anyone else. Even if everyone else bands together to do wrong, even still I am ordering you to do and say only what is true and right!
17 "Do not covet your neighbor's house; do not covet your neighbor's wife, his male or female slave, his ox, his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor."
Do not attempt to “keep up with the Jones’s”! Do not be greedy and do not want anything more then what I give you. Just because your neighbor has a new Lexus, does not mean you need one. Do not covet it. Be satisfied with what I have given you. I will give you whatever I want you to have. And don’t attempt to be legalistic, trying to find ways around what I have given you because you want whatever you want instead. That won’t work! If you do such a thing, you will be proving that you do not trust in Me or believe that I know what is in your best interest. Thus you will be in violation of what I stated above. So be careful not to do any such wickedness!
